September Shows!
As usual Pear have a very busy September with three big shows and conferences in three weeks.Â
There is no better time to speak to us, or see our software in action, as we could be in your area!
Arb Conference
On Monday we are off to the University of Warwick on the 9th to 11th September for the UK’s biggest Arboriculture Conference.Â
We have released our GIS software, PearGIS, in the arb sector, complete with new BS5837 tools, and this is a good opportunity to have a closer look at it.Â
We’ll be listening out for news regarding the future changes to the BS5837. We welcome your opinions and suggestions about how we can best incorporate these into our software!
OTISS is our new android based tree surveying software. BS5837 and general surveys can now be carried out on your android phone. Surveys are synced, reviewed and edited on the secure OTISS website and maps and reports can then be generated.Â
We’ve recently integrated Pear Map Shop into OTISS to enable easy access to detailed OS Mastermap map data. Click Here to find out more!
APF Show
Our second trip will be to the APF Exhibition at the beautiful Ragley Estate on the 19th to the 21st of September.
The APF Exhibition is the UK’s largest forestry, woodland, arboriculture and trees trade show. It attracts over 320 exhibitors and 23000 visitors and is one of our favourite shows of the year.Â
If you missed a chance to visit our stand at the Amenity Conference this is another great opportunity to try out our GPS handheld devices and surveying software.Â
If you’re already familiar with OTISS pop by our stand to find out how PearGIS and Pear Map Shop can be used to give your OTISS maps the professional look. Ask us about our future development plans for the software and let us know what features you would like added!Â
ICCM Learning Convention and Exhibition
Our last show in September is the ICCM Learning Convention and Exhibition in Kenilworth. We’ll be exhibiting our cemetery mapping software and services.Â
Philippa will be demonstrating how our cemetery maps can work with your existing burial administration system. Ask her how you can get started digitising your cemetery map and records.
It’s a fantastic chance to find out more about the latest in cemetery software, and have any questions answered about the mapping process and the different options available…did you know we can work with aerial imagery and put your map online?Â
Next Up!
We will have a break in October but then are back on the road to Birmingham for the Land Leisure and Tourism Show (previously known as the Farm, Business and Innovation Show).

We hope to see you in September but if you miss us at any shows do contact us and we will be happy to get in touch and offer a demo or just a chat to answer any questions.
