Shows and Conferences in September
Pear have a busy September planned! We are going to be out and about exhibiting at three conferences in two weeks! If you have been waiting for an opportunity to talk to us or see our software in action there is no better time to do so.
Arboricultural Association Conference
First up is the UK’s biggest Arboriculture Conference in Warwick on 10th to the 13th September.
This will be a great chance to see our new mapping software, PearGIS in action. Its release is on the horizon and this is a good opportunity to have a closer look at it. Map editing is now much easier with the option to hold all information within the software. Simply click on a tree to view the information captured in your survey and use the filter style tool to colour up the trees on the map using the survey information.Â
If you have recently thought about upgrading or investing in a new GPS device you’ll be able to try out some of the selection we are bringing to the show.Â
The ICCM
Next up, from the 18th to 20th September, we’ll be exhibiting our cemetery mapping software and services at the ICCM Learning Convention and Exhibition 2023 in Kenilworth.
Philippa and Jonathan will be demonstrating how our cemetery maps can work with your existing burial administration system, or discuss how you can get started digitising your cemetery map and records.
The conference is free to visitors attending just to meet exhibitors so do pop in to see us if you are local but do not have a ticket to attend the conference.Â
It’s a great chance to find out more about the latest in cemetery software, and have any questions answered about the mapping process and the different options available…did you know we can work with aerial imagery and put your map online? Â
Confor Woodland Show
Our final trip in September will be the Confor Woodland Show 2023. This show is a key fixture of our calendar and a wonderful opportunity to meet up with everyone.Â
If you missed a chance to visit our stand at the Arboricultural Association Conference this is another opportunity to try our various GPS handheld devices and PearGIS.Â
Jonathan and Megan will be demonstrating the PocketGIS surveying software and how it can be used to capture trees and other assets to create reports and maps to give your surveys the professional look.
That’s it for September but we’ll only have a couple of weeks to catch our breath as in October we will be travelling all the way up from Havant to Aberdeen for the Future Farming Expo! We’ll write more later but in the meantime you can find out more at https://www.futurefarmingexpo.com/Â
